1847 Large Cent. N-5, R3+ AU55/50 SOLD

Repunched 847, R3+. A couple of hits on the bridge of the nose and lightly cleaned but expertly retoned, just a little glossy for the grade. A beautiful ’47, the overdate most obvious at the crossbar of the 4. Scarcer variety.
