1844 Half Cent. Electrotype of Original Proof Strike

Proof only year electrotype from an original Proof strike rather than one of the restrikes with the customary large berries reverse. A bright spot at the nose from rub shows the underlying metal core, a few bubbled areas at rim betraying the electrotype process. Rich color and detail as you would expect from a Proof half cent!
