1840 Large Cent. N-6 VF35

N-6, Large Date. Petite Head ’40 with only the tiniest contact marks, bold recutting of 840 of date, cleaned and recolored to a dark umber, lighter toward the centers, traces of a wipe primarily at upper obverse. Well done and mellowing to a more even natural hue. Still a very attractive  Petite Head with choice details!
