1836 Half Cent. Cast Counterfeit

Cast counterfeit of a Proof only date. Lots of red flags to alert the wary collector: pebbly fields with crusty devices, mushy details no Proof should exhibit, and light filing, particularly on the edge. This is a great study piece.
