1814 large Cent. S-295 VF25
Plain 4. A lightly circulated Classic Head. Later die state with extensive crumbling below chin to neck, what Breen called the “Bearded” variety. Long arcing crack from rim at star eleven through 8 of date to rim, heavy reverse flow lines merging letters into rim. No hairlines present but color does suggest an old cleaning, fields a little bright in some areas.
