1804 Large Cent. S-266 Electrotype Copy EF SOLD

Electrotype copy of original strike S-266. Planchet somewhat thin, possibly to offset the weight of the heavier lead core which shows itself just off the lower hair curl and in the field near the edge before L of LIBERTY. Edge seam easily visible. Some nice splashes of red, particularly on the reverse and around the date on the obverse.
