1804 Half Cent. C-11, R2 VF30
Plain 4, Stems, R2. A cleaning holds this back from a higher grade but she’s mellowing toward a nice peanut butter coloring. Middle die state with the heavy reverse bulging on reverse at HALF CENT extending into the leaves. No trace of the obverse vertical crack that develops later. The C-11 is usually found in lower grades. To own one in VF is an accomplishment!
