1800 Large Cent. S-203 R3 VG

S-203, R3, Normal Date. Late die state of a very interesting 1800 variety, clashing on reverse advanced so far as to distort TES OF, the bust and drapery from the obverse actually depressing the area so OF looks as if it sits in a hole! Scattered light contact marks across the obverse though nothing excessive, the reverse faring a bit better. Some gloss from a very old cleaning.
