1794 Large Cent. S-46, R3 VG8/5

Head of ’94, R3, EDS. An R3 ’94 lacking from many collections, the separated hair locks and die break across E of CENT easily discernible. This is Maris’ “Plicae” , referencing the unique hair engraving. A few rim bumps affecting obverse and reverse, a light scratch at the neck much less apparent in hand than in the photo. Tougher 1794 variety at an excellent price!
