1787 Nova Eborac. Medium Bust PCGS XF40 SOLD

Medium Bust, Seated Figure Facing Left. A beautiful Nova Eborac (New York), a series with ties to Ephraim Brasher of Brasher Doubloon fame, the letter punches being identical to the ones on the doubloon die. Some striking weakness at the date with the final 7 difficult to discern. High points of the devices somewhat shiny and lighter than the fields, indicative of a past cleaning. Still a stunning example of a tougher state series.
